While wastewater / effluent treatment systems form the tail end of the process,
PRAJ's technology offering is concerned with this factor right at the
beginning of the project.
Each technology is guided by environmental concerns of individual regions.
Distilleries are also looking to generate a revenue stream from such
investments. To that end, a basket of technology is available which forms an
integral part of the entire plant.

Systems for wastewater treatment and utilization include: |
Sugar based Distillery / Ethanol Plant:
- EcoMet XT Biomethanation System followed by Composting / secondary and tertiary treatment.
- EcoVap Evaporation System for concentration of spentwash / vinasse.
- EcoVap Evaporation System followed by Incineration.
This can be coupled with appropriate secondary and tertiary treatment as
applicable.
Starch based Distillery / Ethanol Plant:
- EcoMet XT Biomethanation System for Slops & Distillers Wet Grains cake as Animal Feed.
- EcoVap Evaporation system followed by drying for production of Distillers Dry Grains and Solubles (DDGS)
- EcoVap Evaporation system for production of syrup and wet cake as Animal feed.
This can be coupled with appropriate secondary and tertiary treatment as
applicable.
