India's first Mash Filter Commissioned
Praj recently supplied and commissioned India's first Mash Filter, The Mash Filter was stabilized in a record time. Presently, Praj is executing three Mash Filter plants in different parts of India. With the Mash Filter Brewhouse, the brewery located in South India will have capacity upto 2.0 million hlpa.
In 2006, Praj entered into an association with Meura, Belgium, world leaders in Mash Filtration technology to offer high efficiency Mash Filter in India and subcontinent. The Meura range can be preferred choice for breweries with high capacities upward of 0.5 million hlpa.
With the installation of Mash Filter in the Brew house, brewers can enhance revenues through increased efficiencies and productivity with lower utility consumptions.
Performance features of Mash Filter
- High productivity (at least 14 brews per day upto 16 brews per day)
- High extract yields (practical yield at least equal to lab yield)
- Very Bright Worts with low solids content < 5ml/l
- High extract yield resulting into decrease in specific malt consumption
- Acceptance of high proportion of Adjuncts
Due to increase in malt prices and varying malt quality, Mash Filter becomes a more viable and suitable option for Indian Brewery Industry.

Executing India's Largest Tank Farm !
Praj, in association with Holvrieka, Netherlands, is executing India's largest Unitanks cellar for a brewery in South India. The tanks are designed for 4000 hl volume with direct expansion ammonia jackets and are being manufactured at site under supervision from Holvrieka.
Holvrieka is one of the World's largest tank building company

Filtrox is the most preferred Candle Filter in Breweries.
Praj & Filtrox have completed 14 years of co-operation in the India.
The partnership has commissioned more than 18 Filtration plants in India and 10 more under commissioning.
