Fabricated equipment : Design of process
equipment as per international codes; preparation of General
Arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, material take-off
for procurement; insulation, painting, material take-off,
etc.

Rotary and package equipment : Detailed
specifications for equipment like pumps, fans and blowers;
preparation of detailed specifications for package equipment;
finalizing vendor list and issuing enquiries; evaluation of
quotations and issuing order specifications; vendor drawing
review/approval; preparation of motor list, civil load data
and maintenance manual.

Instrumentation : Detailed specifications
for all field and panel mounted instruments; finalizing vendor
list, issuing enquiries, evaluation of quotations, issuing
order specifications, vendor drawing review/approval, preparation
of cable layouts with material take-off and inspection of
all items at supplier's place.

Electrical : Finalizing motor list,
single line diagram, specifications for electrical items,
Vendor after evaluation of quotations, Vendor drawing approval,
cable layouts with material take-off, issuing enquiries and
inspection of all items at supplier's place.

Layouts and Piping covering overall
plot plans, elevations, equipment layouts, layouts for statutory
approvals, preparation of Civil and Structural load data,
isometrics, piping MTO, support design and stress analysis.

Manufacturing Facility
 |
PRAJ has appropriate manufacturing
facility with floor area of 40,000 Sq.ft. near Pune. This ensures
that PRAJ delivers high quality metal working in various grades
of Stainless Steel, Copper, Carbon steels, Nickel, Titanium,
Hastalloy and other exotic materiel. This facility is accredited
with ASME 'U' & 'H' stamp and ISO 9001-2000 certification.
To focus on export projects, PRAJ acquired
a new manufacturing facility near Pune. Spread over 4400
sq.mtr. total area (1700 sq.mtr. covered area) with an
office block.
Various codes and standards followed include ASME Section
VIII. Div.1, BS 5500, ASNI (SNT-TC-IA 1984 & 1988), TEMA,
DIN, IS 2825 and AD Merkblatter.
Thrust for quality workmanship has seen PRAJ being enlisted
with inspection agencies like UHDE India, SGS and TUV.

Quality Assurance

PRAJ utilizes many systems, methods and techniques
developed for effective control and assurance of the quality
required as per the industrial standards/codes, Company
policies and practices.

The starting point is a Quality Assurance
Plan which monitors and controls all aspects of quality right
from audit of engineering drawings, vendors, suppliers, site/shop
fabricated items and all agencies involved in the process.
Raw materials and equipment undergo stringent chemical and
mechanical tests including DP testing, NDE methods such as
Radiography, Ultrasonic, Magnetic particle testing, Penetrate
testing and leak testing.
